The previous helper has financial issue and always borrows money from financial companies. The employer did offer the help for paying back the loan and wish the helper will be more kind to his mother. But it didn’t turn out as wished and the helper still being rough to the elderly.
We found a helper who has love and the passion to try her best toward her duty. But when facing the complain from the elderly, it broke her heart wondering why such hard work does not get recognize by the elderly but to get complaint. We tried to explain to the helper that most elderly is like a child who needs attention. Sometimes elderly is like a baby to their own child and would love to get their attention. We explain to the helper that as long as she has done her job and if the elderly’s son didn’t complain, then don’t put too much negative feeling toward the complaint from elderly. When time pass by the helper do blend in with the family and understand the elderly even more. A while after the helper got minor injury from her duty and we will step in to teach the helper how exactly she should get her job done safely and what to do to prevent hurting herself.
